Susan Arnington. (BA Brown University, M.S., Cornell University ) works in painting and mixed media. Her recent works of "Mythic Geography" are imaginative maps of the Middle East that incorporate texts from diverse cultures who co-existed there. She just received a 2004 Minnesota State Arts Board grant to create maps of the Twin Cities made of the words and languages of residents. In 2002, she started"Talking Suitcases," an art & storytelling project for groups. She works in a wide range of schools and communties using art as a tool for personal growth and community building.
